What is a HVAC System? HVAC, or Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning system is the equipment, technology and process that goes into heating, cooling and ventilating a property. HVAC systems usually contain either an air conditioner or a heat pump. An air conditioner will only be able to provide cool air, whereas a heat pump is able to provide both cool air and heated air.

We use ductwork systems to house and transport the affected air around the building to provide evenly distributed air across the property. We do also offer MINI-split HVAC units that cool and heat a specific room without the need for ductwork.

Our HVAC systems are designed to improve the quality of air. Outside air quality is five times better than indoor air as the airflow is more congested. Not only this, but as the air is not being exchanged it is becoming more polluted and more likely for bacteria to linger and develop.

HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEMS (MVHR)

NWCS supply, design and install heat recovery units that supply fresh air to any setting while simultaneously extracting stale indoor air; in the process, we are also recovering valuable heat energy for maximum efficiency and lowering the carbon dioxide levels in a room; capturing this waste energy means heating/cooling requirements of the building are reduced so savings can be made on energy consumption and carbon emissions are reduced.

This is an exceptional solution for applications such as schools, offices, toilet blocks and leisure facilities due to the Energy Performance of Building Directive (EPBD) limiting the amount of electrical and gas power to be used to provide heating/cooling in commercial buildings therefore this type of energy-efficient equipment is an effective alternative.
